🎙️🌱 Exciting News! Mr. Zakaria Jaoudi recently shared insights about entrepreneurship, investment keys, and combating unemployment in Tunisia on Radio Diwan FM's Eco Mag show. He shed light on Respect Environment Group's pioneering journey in recycling and construction waste demolition, positioning us as the first company specializing in this field in Tunisia and Africa.

The idea originated in 2017 and became a reality in 2019. Today, our expertise is sought after not only in Tunisia but also in Africa and the Gulf countries, where we're invited to share our experiences. Our flagship product, the result of construction waste demolition and recycling, can be utilized for road construction, as demonstrated by our successful RN3 project in Ben Arous. This 1.2 km² road, funded by the European Union's Re-med project under the ENICBCMED program, showcases our commitment to innovative circular economy practices for sustainable construction in the Mediterranean.

Our project's main objectives revolve around environmental preservation and combating unemployment. Starting with just five individuals, we received support from Ezzahra Municipality, securing land to establish our project. With initial funding of 400,000 Tunisian Dinars, our project's value gradually increased, although initially, banks were hesitant to provide loans due to the perceived risks. However, AFH's partnership enabled us to test and certify our recycled products, boosting credibility and operational efficiency.

Currently, our aim is to expand our initiative nationwide, as evidenced by the imminent construction of recycling and valorization units in Sfax Municipality. By promoting the use of recycled materials, our goal is to reduce the reliance on quarry products and decrease road construction costs. For instance, our intervention in the RN3 project led to a potential 40% cost reduction compared to traditional methods, a testament to the efficacy of our approach.

Mr. Zakaria Jaouadi emphasized that Respect Environment Group now boasts 30 direct employees, including engineers and laborers, with an additional 60 to 70 indirect employees. This growth underscores our dedication to environmental sustainability and economic development.

Stay tuned as we continue to make strides in the recycling, ecology, and environmental sectors, shaping a greener and more sustainable future for Tunisia and beyond. ♻️🌍 #Recycling #Environment #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #Demolition #Innovation
